I like to work out-of-doors because of the potential and possibility of unforeseen inputs adding to the conversations and group processes. These 'inputs' from nature often change perspectives and with this shift in perspective, groups often find different, more innovative solutions than they would have found with the same questions in a closed room around a table. I have found that Nature intelligently supports a 'self-organizing field' that gets results.

Why the Genuine Contact way of working?

The Genuine Contact way of working suits me very well. I'm from a tradition of working in the out-of-doors where we use all partissipants knowledge and skills and this is the core element in Genuine Contact. It's a collaborative way of working that really brings everyone in, or at least invites everyone in an honest way. The partissipant is invited but has to make a consius decision to partissipate fully.

From my perspective is the strength that you use what already is in the group to work with. Of course some might be needed to bring but mainly are all answers already there, waiting to be shown and used. I love the easy instructions of how to do rather than use different tools. A tool says something like a knife is a knife no matter what.The way we work is something inbetween a tool, a software and personal commitment to a subject. It's the Genuine Contact way of working.
