Individual Health and Balance: Foundational Module 3 of the Genuine Contact Program

Welcome to the Learning Hub for Individual Health and Balance (2025).  This is a Foundational Module 3 of the Genuine Contact Program.

This page is the Learning Hub for the module and includes details on all of the components. The components are organized in 3 phases of learning:

  1. Pre-Work: self-study materials to complete between your registration and the first real-time learning day
  2. Real-Time Learning: 4 days of real-time online learning, November 28, December 5, 12 & 19, 2025. Audio recordings of each of the meeting segments will be provided of each day's activity for your ongoing learning.
  3. Post-Meeting Work: this work continues your learning after the real-time days are complete.

Every Genuine Contact Program module includes a workbook designed to support your learning both while taking the module and as you beginning working with its teachings. While each Genuine Contact Trainer can facilitate the learning of a module's teaching objectives as they wish, all workshop participants receive the same workbook to support common learning experiences.

Pre-Work

Segment 1: Getting Ready for Your Learning

Suggested Time: 1 hour | For self-study prior to the rest of your learning

Prepare for your learning experience through a series of readiness exercises. Getting ready for your learning might not be something you’ve thought much about before. We believe taking some time before starting a workshop to get in touch with your personal readiness for learning is an important way to set the foundation for focusing and deepening your learning for the best possible outcomes.

This segment guides you through a simple exercise to focus your intention for the rest of the learning package.  The video is 24 minutes and will take approximately 1 hour to view and complete the exercises.

Segment 2: Welcome and Orientation

This video is a welcome and orientation to the Individual Health and Balance learning module. We offer you some orientation to the purpose of this learning module and give you tips for your preparations to make the most of your learning.

This video is 21 minutes and will take approximately 30 minutes to view and complete the exercises.

Segment 3: Finding Your Starting Place

This video, your beginning for the Individual Health and Balance workshop, is all about finding your starting place.  What do you currently know about health and balance?  Explore it here with these guiding questions.

Segment 4: Foundations for Individual Health and Balance

This video is an introduction to the two key elements of health and balance that we’ll be exploring in our work together.

Segment 5: Wheel of Life

This video’s focus is on the Wheel of Life  It provides an overview of the tool and a brief orientation on how to use it.

The video is 7 minutes long and we recommend making 20 minutes available for this self-study.

Segment 6: Cleanse, Balance & Nourish

This video’s focus is on Cleansing, Nourishing, and Protecting and is part of the Individual Health and Balance Learning Module. It corresponds to the same section in the Individual Health and Balance workbook (found in the Additional Resources at the top of this page).

In this video, we share with you some simple tips for how to cleanse yourself – focusing on all 4 bodies that make up the human being: mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical. We also look at nourishment that goes beyond the typical “healthy food and plenty of water” recommendations and ways to protect yourself and keep yourself well grounded.

The video is 38 minutes long and we recommend making 1.5 hours available for this self-study.

Segment 7: Working with the Medicine Wheel Tool

This video’s focus is on the Medicine Wheel Tool. In it, we explore Mandalas and the Medicine Wheel, looking at different ways the Medicine Wheel can be used as a container for exploring your individual health and balance. It is up to you to choose how to use the Medicine Wheel to deepen your personal practice for continually regenerating health and balance. We will be using the Medicine Wheel Tool as a framework for our learning together.

Real-Time Learning

Segment 8: Real-Time Learning

4 x 3.5 hours | Facilitated Group Work Experience | November 28 December 5, 12 & 19, 2025, 8am - 12pm EST

This live learnshop is your opportunity to work together with others in deepening your understanding about Individual Health and Balance.

Facilitation method for the workshop: Whole Person Process Facilitation, designed for the learning styles of the adult learner. The workshop will be online using the meeting platform Zoom + Miro.  If you would like a simple orientation to Miro, please login 10 minute prior to our start time.

Homework

   Please block time in your calendar each week to complete your homework. We recommend approximately 15 minutes per day of noticing plus 2-4 hours per week for these activities.  Homework will be added to this section at the end of each day of the real-time learning.

Post-Meeting Work

Learning through Application

To benefit the most from your learning, we recommend using your learning from Individual Health and Balance as soon as possible after your real-time learning. Use it in as many life and business situations that you can find to apply it to. As recommended in Segment 1: Preparing for Your Learning, this is the time of implementing your learning, paying attention to how it unfolds, and then making adjustments to future applications based on what you have experienced and learned so far.

You can revisit your learning materials, including the recordings from the real-time learning segment, to support you in applying your learning.

The conversations happening in the Geuine Contact google group can also support you during this time. This ongoing email-based mentoring circle is a place where you can share your designs for working with Individual Health and Balance to ask for feedback and share your stories about what worked and what didn't to support your adjustments for future applications. You can access this google group through membership in the Genuine Contact Organization. White Level membership is free and paid membership levels are also available that offer additional resources and other benefits. Segment 9: Real-Time Mentoring Circle

3 hours | Facilitated Group Work Experience | March 27, 2026 | 9 am – 12 pm EDT

One of the things we believe in all of our training is that having ongoing learning opportunities is critical for learning retention, application of your skills, and continually growing your skills and capacities.

When you have the opportunity to gather with others who have also learned a particular skillset – to share your experiences, wisdom and insights and to ask questions where you still have more to learn – it offers all participants a possibility for ongoing and deepened learning.  As part of our commitment to ongoing learning for your leadership development, you are encouraged to participate in a mentoring circle with a focus on working with Individual Health and Balance.

You also qualify to participate in all mentoring circles about Individual Health and Balance in the future. These mentoring circles are offered without any additional fees for participation. Your participation is included in your original workshop registration. Invitations to future mentoring circles are available via the Dalar International Consultancy or Genuine Contact newsletter.
