Thank you for participating in your leadership development with us. The complete learning package of the module Beliefs for Creating a culture of Leadership includes both self-study materials and 1 real-time online mentoring session. This module can be taken on its own as a module of the Genuine Contact Way learning program. It is one of five modules of the leadership development Next Level Leadership Learning Track.

This page is the learning hub for the 5-segment learning package and includes details on all of the segments.  Approximate times for your work with each segment are suggested, totaling approximately 7 hours of guided learning. Additional information about each segment can be found further down this Learning Hub page.

Segments 1-4 must be completed prior to your real-time learning beginning in Segment 5.

  • Segment 1: Self-study video focused on your Business and/or Development Goal. Plan for 1 hour.
  • Segment 2: Self-study video focused on Welcome and Orientation. Plan for 30 minutes.
  • Segment 3: Developing an understanding of your Beliefs for Creating a Culture of Leadership. Plan for 2 hours.
  • Segment 4: Learn about the Five Beliefs of Genuine Contact. Plan for 30 minutes.
  • Segment 5: Real-time Mentoring Circle. 3 hours. Date: March 4, 2022, from 9 am to 12 noon EST.

Segment 1: Getting Ready for Your Learning

Suggested Time: 1 hour | For self-study prior to the rest of your learning

Prepare for your learning experience through a series of readiness exercises. Getting ready for your learning might not be something you’ve thought much about before. We believe taking some time at the start of a learning module to get in touch with your personal readiness for learning is an important way to set the foundation for focusing and deepening your learning for the best possible outcomes.

This segment guides you through a simple exercise to focus your intention for the rest of the learning package.  The video is 24 minutes and will take approximately 1 hour to view and complete the exercises.

Segment 2: Welcome & Orientation

Suggested Time: 30 minutes | For self-study prior to the rest of your learning

Welcome to Segment 2 of the learning package for Beliefs for Creating a Culture of Leadership. You are welcome to your learning journey. In this video, we orient you to your learning materials and the intended progress you will make with your self-study materials.

The video is 10 minutes and will take approximately 20-30 minutes to view and prepare for your learning with the remaining materials.

Segment 3: Beliefs for Creating a Culture of Leadership

Suggested Time: 2 hours | For self-study

This video’s focus is on Beliefs for Creating a Culture of Leadership and focuses on exploring your beliefs about leadership, what kind of leadership paradigm they support and  exploring a shift in your beliefs to create a culture of leadership both personally and professionally.

The video is approximately 30 minutes long and will take approximately 2 hours or more to view and process your learning.

Segment 4: Five Beliefs of Genuine Contact

Suggested Time: 30 minutes | For self-study

This video’s focus is on the Five Beliefs of Genuine Contact, and focuses on exploring what these beliefs are and how we at Dalar International Consultancy work with them in our work and our lives. These provide an example of beliefs that form a leadership paradigm that supports a culture of leadership. There is no intention for you to adopt these beliefs. They are provided here simply as an example.

The video is approximately 15 minutes long and will take approximately 30 minutes or more to view and process your learning.

Segment 5: Real-Time Mentoring Circle

3 hours | Facilitated Group Work Experience | March 4, 2022 | 9 am – 12 pm EST

One of the things we believe in all of our training is that having ongoing learning opportunities is critical for learning retention, application of your skills, and continually growing your skills and capacities.

When you have the opportunity to gather with others who have also learned a particular skillset – to share your experiences, wisdom and insights and to ask questions where you still have more to learn – it offers all participants a possibility for ongoing and deepened learning.  As part of our commitment to ongoing learning for your leadership development, you are encouraged to participate in a mentoring circle with a focus on Beliefs for Creating a Culture of Leadership, March 4, 2022, from 9:00 am to 12 noon EST.
