As a leader, consultant, coach, or facilitator who is working with the Genuine Contact Way, it can be immensely helpful to your work to be able to teach Genuine Contact modules to others. Whether it’s building capacity through teaching a team in an organization or individuals through public offerings, sharing these modules with others is a powerful way to support them in working with Genuine Contact more intentionally and empowering them to work this way on their own.
One of the foundational givens of the Genuine Contact way of working is that our approach should have limited external consultant involvement with maximum skill and capacity building. Completing the Train the Trainer learning path and becoming an Authorized Genuine Contact Trainer gives you an added approach for doing just that. Teaching individuals and organizations to work this way so that they can grow their own capacity for working in this way.
From Learner to Authorized Trainer
In the Train the Trainer learning path, you experience the teachings of the Genuine Contact Way. Ten modules that teach you the tools, processes, and methods at the core of the Genuine Contact way of working. With each module you complete, you will have new skills that you can put into practice immediately - strengthening your leadership or expanding your offerings as a consultant, coach, or facilitator.
The 10th and final module, Train the Trainer, focuses on developing the skills and knowledge you need to train others in all Genuine Contact modules. Upon graduation, you are able to access a complete Trainers’ Toolkit including sample workshop facilitation plans and all of the learning materials you’ll need to begin teaching others - starting right after your graduation.
Over the course of this learning path, you learn how to work with this integrated approach while learning to teach it to others. This powerful learning-while-doing approach means you’re ready to begin teaching Genuine Contact modules from the very first day you are authorized.

Anyone who has completed the Train the Trainer learning path has the right – but not the responsibility – to participate in creating the future of the Genuine Contact Way and co-leading the Genuine Contact Organization as co-owners and stewards of the Genuine Contact Co-Owners Group, Inc. This global Genuine Contact Organization is the steward of the GC Way and supports members of the Genuine Contact Organization in increasing the use of Genuine Contact in the world. This provides a practical experience of leadership in a global GCO when learning and collaborating together with people spanning a multitude of competencies, cultures, and languages.
