A Note on Who We Are
The GC Leadership Learning Cohort is offered by the International Genuine Contact Organization (IGCO), a global membership organization that operates under the umbrella of Genuine Contact Co-Owners Group, Inc., a Wyoming corporation. Genuine Contact Co-Owners Group, Inc. is the legal and financial home of the IGCO and the owner of all Genuine Contact intellectual property. Throughout this agreement, we refer to ourselves as the IGCO. Once your program begins, you will experience us simply as the IGCO – the organization behind the Genuine Contact (GC) Way of Working.
1. What You Are Registering For
The GC Leadership Learning Cohort (the “Cohort”) is a structured learning program offered by the IGCO. It is designed to help participants strengthen their holistic leadership capacity through guided learning, peer support, mentoring, and hands-on practice within the IGCO’s Leadership Learning Incubator.
The Cohort includes the following components:
[PLACEHOLDER – Program components as a bulleted list to be finalized and added before publication.]
Participants may also engage in other IGCO learning paths or workshops alongside the Cohort or choose to do so after it ends.
If you are not yet an IGCO member, your registration includes a one-year IGCO membership in the GC Friends group, which gives you access to the IGCO resources, meetings, and engagement opportunities available at that membership group during your membership year.
If you are already an IGCO member, your registration fee for the full program includes a discount equal to your annual membership contribution for the current year. To receive your discount code, contact the IGCO Director at pd@genuinecontact.net before you register. This discount applies to the full program only – it is not available for the pilot program.
2. Learning Objectives
You will leave this Leadership Learning journey in the cohort equipped with:
- Deep understanding of how a holistic leadership approach can strengthen and simplify your own leadership.
- Experience
of how strategy focused and holistic organizations (Genuine Contact Organizations) function and develop. - Knowledge about practical ways to apply holistic leadership practices and processes from the Genuine Contact Way of working in your daily work including ways to show and communicate results.
- Understanding how the 6 cultural dimensions in an organization contribute to life nourishing climate and how to work with them.
- Practice your leadership and facilitation skills in real situations.
- Experience, practice and understanding of co-leadership and co-creation and what is needed to make collaboration successful.
- Understanding of the importance of space for active reflection as a foundation for performance to allow potential to unfold.
- Designs for your own projects and ideas with Genuine Contact tools.
- A description of your own path for lifelong learning after the cohort journey is finished.
By registering, you are confirming that these objectives represent the intended learning outcomes of the Cohort and that you are entering the program with these outcomes in mind. The IGCO, through Genuine Contact Co-Owners Group, Inc., is responsible for delivering a program designed to meet these objectives. Learning objectives are designed to be achieved over the full course of the program – not necessarily within any single session.
3. Your Commitment as a Participant
The Cohort is designed so that the more you put in, the more you will get out. There is no minimum attendance requirement. Your active engagement – in real-time sessions and in your work between sessions – is what shapes your learning experience.
You can expect to commit approximately [PLACEHOLDER: X hours per week / X–Y hours per month] to the Cohort, including real-time sessions and assigned work between sessions.
By registering, you agree to:
- Engage actively and in good faith with the program structure, your learning goals, and your cohort community
- Complete assigned work between real-time sessions
- Treat what you learn about other participants’ organizations, work, and circumstances with confidentiality, unless a participant has expressly indicated otherwise
A note on confidentiality: Participants come from organizations and contexts across many countries and cultures. The IGCO expects all participants to honour the confidentiality of what is shared within the cohort. However, the IGCO cannot guarantee or be held responsible for the confidentiality practices of individual participants.
4. Program Materials and Intellectual Property
All materials provided as part of the Cohort – including tools, frameworks, workshop content, and resources – remain the property of Genuine Contact Co-Owners Group, Inc.
Access to these materials is provided through your IGCO membership. As a participant, you are welcome to use the materials you receive in your own professional work, both during and after the Cohort, with proper credit given to the Genuine Contact Way of Working and the IGCO.
Your included one-year GC Friends membership gives you online access to the materials available at that membership level throughout your membership year. If you choose not to renew your membership after that first year, your ongoing access will be limited to materials you have already downloaded for your personal use. Renewing your membership keeps you connected to updated versions as they evolve.
Your privacy: The IGCO collects personal information at registration for the purpose of administering your participation in the Cohort. For information about how your data is collected, used, and protected, please review our privacy policy at https://genuinecontact.net/terms-of-use/.
5. What We Are Responsible For – and What We Are Not
The IGCO is committed to delivering a high-quality learning experience grounded in the Genuine Contact Way of Working. We take that responsibility seriously.
At the same time, individual leadership growth is a personal process – one that is shaped by your own effort, your openness to learning, and many factors that exist beyond the program itself.
Registering in the GC Leadership Learning Cohort does not guarantee specific leadership outcomes, performance improvements, or results in your professional context. The IGCO is responsible for delivering the program as described and working in good faith toward the stated learning objectives. We are not responsible for specific changes in leadership behaviour or results in your work or organization.
6. When Your Program Starts
Your program begins on the date you receive access to your program materials. This is your official program start date – not the date of the first real-time session.
7. Payment and Refunds
If you need to withdraw before your program start date
If you need to withdraw before your program start date due to extenuating circumstances, you may request a refund. For the purposes of this agreement, extenuating circumstances include serious medical issues, bereavement, and traumatic events. Refunds in this case will be issued less an administrative fee of 5% of the total registration payment received.
If you withdraw before your program start date without extenuating circumstances, no refund will be issued.
If you withdraw after your program start date
Once your program has started, no refunds will be issued for participant withdrawal.
If the IGCO needs to make changes
The IGCO reserves the right to provide alternative facilitators for real-time sessions. This is our first approach to keeping the program running smoothly for all participants when unexpected circumstances arise.
- If the IGCO cancels the entire Cohort before your program start date, you will receive a full refund.
- If the IGCO cancels the Cohort after your program start date, you will receive a prorated refund. The refund amount is calculated based on the percentage of the total program duration that had not yet elapsed at the time of cancellation. For example, if the IGCO cancels the Cohort when 30% of the program duration has passed, you would receive a refund of 70% of the total registration payment.
8. If You Have Concerns About the Learning Objectives
We want the program to deliver on its promises. If at any point you feel the Cohort is not meeting its stated learning objectives, here is how we ask you to raise that concern.
During the program
Because the learning objectives are designed to be achieved across the full course of the Cohort, we ask that you bring concerns about unmet objectives to your program leaders toward the end of the program – ideally at least two weeks before the program end date. Raising a concern early enough gives the program team the opportunity to respond while there is still time to make a meaningful difference.
After the program ends
If you identify learning objectives that were not achieved after the program has concluded, please raise your concern within two weeks of the program end date.
How to raise a concern
- Speak with or email your program leaders directly. They are your first point of contact and are best positioned to work through a resolution with you.
- If you feel a resolution has not been reached through your program leaders, you are welcome to contact the IGCO Director, Rachel Bolton, at pd@genuinecontact.net. Rachel will first work with you and the program leaders to find a resolution, and then escalate the concern to the Genuine Contact Co-Owners if needed.
What to expect
The IGCO will work with you to identify an appropriate resolution. This could include additional mentoring, scheduling an additional session for your cohort, or other options based on your specific situation. Resolutions are handled on a case-by-case basis.
Because our aim is to understand whether there is a gap in delivery (our responsibility) or a gap in participation (your responsibility), we will ask you to share how you engaged with the program – including your attendance and your completion of assigned work between sessions. Demonstrating your participation is a required part of any concern about unmet learning objectives.
Please note: Concerns about unmet learning objectives do not entitle a participant to a refund. No refunds will be issued for completed programs.
9. Governing Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States of America.
10. Your Agreement
By completing your registration, you confirm that you have read and understood these Terms and Conditions of Participation and that you agree to them as a condition of joining the GC Leadership Learning Cohort.
