You are invited to join other members of our International Genuine Contact Organization for our annual Open Space Technology (OST) meeting on September 16, 18, and 23. This three-part meeting is intended to provide an opportunity for you to discuss what is most important for Genuine Contact at this time.
The theme for this meeting is:
“Let’s Play Together!
Issues and Opportunities for Moving Genuine Contact Forward Worldwide”
Do you like Genuine Contact, and do you want to bring it your community and the larger world? This OST meeting gives us all a chance to come together, to inspire one another, develop ideas, and connect to discover, discuss and mobilize our individual and collective projects that will help make Genuine Contact stronger in the world. It is always great to have a group of fellow travelers on a journey, and this OST meeting is like a stop on the road, around a campfire where we can share, talk, and find new ways to move forward.
During the OST meeting, participants can create and manage your own agenda within parallel working sessions. The goal of an OST meeting is to create time and space for everyone to engage creatively around issues that are important to you. Participants are invited to build the agenda for these working sessions together. You will be invited to propose sessions on topics that interest you, that you are curious about, and that you would like to share about. After the agenda is developed, participants can choose the sessions they would like to attend.
Sessions 1 (September 16) and 2 (September 18) are devoted to these conversations about topics that interest you. In the third session (September 23), we will reopen space for action planning. This is a wonderful opportunity for you to make plans about the ideas that have come forward in Sessions 1 and 2. By the end of session 3, we envisage new opportunities and clear next steps for working together to move Genuine Contact forward worldwide.
