You’re invited to join your GC colleagues for our monthly Genuine Contact Organization meetings – a regular time for our community to gather, connect, and move our collective work forward together.
Why We’re Gathering
The purpose of these meetings is to support the spread of Genuine Contact in the world by coming together as members of the GCO, working and learning alongside each other. Whether we’re attending to work happening inside the organization or offering mentoring support for members’ work with clients, these gatherings create space for all of us to strengthen our relationships while getting important work done.
These monthly meetings offer a fixed time to attend to the growth and development of Genuine Contact, the Genuine Contact Way of Working, and our International Genuine Contact Organization. The vision is for many engaged members coming together to actively and intentionally move our collective work forward in a timely way.
As Director of the Genuine Contact Organization and Way of Working, I (Rachel Bolton) will be sponsoring these meetings. I’m inviting other members to join me in leading individual meetings by offering your facilitation services if you choose – a wonderful opportunity to practice facilitating WPPF meetings and deepen your understanding of this way of working.
What’s Possible When We Gather
Some of what might emerge in our time together includes:
Learning what’s happening across different working groups and discovering how you can participate if you have the passion to get involved.
Being in dialogue and mentoring on emerging issues and opportunities, having necessary conversations in a timely way.
Engaging the collective wisdom of participants as representatives of the bigger organization when you have something to work on within the context of fulfilling our strategic plan.
Participating in decision-making using our 5toFold process, where all participants contribute and Co-Owners present make the final vote. Having this regular time for decisions allows us to respond to what’s emerging in a timely way.
Addressing anything else that feels important to our community and the work of spreading Genuine Contact in the world.
These are Genuine Contact Organization meetings, which means all members are welcome. This includes anyone interested in Genuine Contact who is enacting your leadership by choosing to show up and be fully present.

How We’ll Work Together
The first part of each meeting is an opportunity to share and hear updates about what we’re each noticing about Genuine Contact including an update of what’s happening in the Leadership Action Team. After that, the agenda is co-created by the participants – bringing in our questions, curiosities, and work that will benefit from community input.
Decision-Making
These meetings create space for decision-making when proposals are ready. Any decisions made will follow our Decision-Making Operating Given.
